Hi there! I'm your friendly neighbourhood Irish butcher.
I did my apprenticeship in Downpatrick, Co.Down, N. Ireland. I arrived in Australia in early 1991 and worked for several butchers for ten years. I managed thei shops and eventually decided to go out on my own, a really big step in my life and I'm glad I took it.
I opened a shop in Kew in July 2001 and started to do a few Irish products (what else?). These included popular Irish sausages and I'm happy to say they proved to be very successful!
I entered the sausage competitions and was as proud, as only an Irishman can be, when we won the Best Melbourne and Victorian 05/06/07 and 2nd in the whole of Australia in 2007.
In 2017, I opened a shop in Bundoora, were you call in, and see we sell a fine range of Irish products like black-and white puddings, gammon, rashers and groceries.
